Facilities: Newly decorated. We were assigned a four-bed room, with a large bed in the living room and three small beds in the bedroom.
Hygiene: No problem with hygiene.
Environment: It's a motel environment, and the location is relatively convenient.
Service: Good service, and the front desk responds promptly.
Slightly tired with some maintenance due.
Too many emails (I think 9 in total) re the stay. When on holiday I don't want 9 extra emails!.
Staff great, rooms really good and quiet considering the location.
It would be good to get all the Sky TV channels for the amount charged. I.e it was missing Channel 7,17,21 etc.
Was easy to find and within walking distance of town. Very clean and thet had proper fresh milk in the fridge. Had good communication too. Would highly recommend this motel. Thank you
The motel is in a good location. But the hotel is quite run down and very tired. The unit we had was relatively clean. The swimming pool looked a bit like a scene from a horror movie... In summary, It wasn't a bad experience to stay there, and it was quite good value for money.
We have 1000Mb of FREE WiFi per guest per day. We offer all guests over the age of 65 a GST Free stay. We have Parking outside nearly all rooms. Parking for large or Small vehicles. We have a Swimming pool, along with a Spa and Sauna. We have a Therapeutic Massage Therapist on site - bookings essential. All rooms have Flat Screen TV'S with Sky and Free-view. All rooms have coffee and tea making facilities, a Fridge and Microwave with all the cooking utensils necessary. We are set off the road more than most Motels, so a lot quieter than most, plus we are upgrading to Double Glazing. We can organise meals or charge backs from most eating establishments in town. We are just around the corner from the Hospital and the Open Polytech, and just up the road from the local i-site where there is a huge Park and walkways. We are less than 5 min. drive to town or a 15/20 min. flat walk to town. Sorry but we have reversed our policy on pets and no longer accept with guests
The most amazing place to be at. Thank you all loved the swim, rooms, bed amazing, breakfast amazing and receptionist amazing. Thank you Pahia for an amazing weather to.
We traveled up from Waipukurau for Paige Harley and Quin Belgrove wedding. Beautiful food.
Close to the town center, you can shop and eat, everything is convenient, small hotel, American style, car parking at the door of the room, convenient and safe, a bit simple configuration, open to the beach for half an hour, there are many self-service laundry shops in town
Going in the summer in New Zealand is just one word, expensive! Those who do not play golf are definitely not recommended to live. Even if you play golf, Kauri Cliff Golf is not as good as you imagined. But regardless of the price, the hotel's service, catering, and environment are indeed very good. The price is not high.

I didn't check the check-in time clearly before booking the room. It was almost 10 pm when I arrived. After communicating with the hotel and Ctrip, it was resolved smoothly. Ruth was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to send me a text message to tell me to come back to the station to pick me up, and then gave me some ingredients for me to cook for supper. Feel like home.
Located near the town center, shopping and dining are within walking distance, everything is convenient. It's a small, American-style hotel with parking right outside the room, convenient and safe. It has basic amenities. It's about a half-hour drive to the beach, and there are many self-service laundromats in town.
Even though I consider myself well-traveled, the scenery here still left me breathless; it must be one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. The butler service was impeccable, and apart from the food not being to the tastes of Chinese people, it surpassed even the gold and platinum hotels in China in every aspect.
