We arrived very late at night for our cruise the following day, so this was a perfect location for us. The hotel is situated inside Miami international airport so you don’t even have to travel anywhere. The only thing we found was that there were no sign posts, we had to keep stopping people to ask where it was, we walked for around 10 mins and after asking around 3/4 people we eventually found it. It is round a corner behind a Mexican restaurant and basically just what looks like an information desk. The staff were very helpful and even upgraded our room free of charge from a double to a king room. We got into the lift and found our room on the 4th floor, the corridors could do with some updating and looked a bit like walking through a prison. Our room was at the end of a corridor. It was very clean and tidy and a lot nicer than I expected. There was a coffee maker and some biscuits under the dressing table and plenty of hanging space and a steamer in the wardrobe. The bathroom was clean with hand wash and body lotion and shower gel. The bed was very confortable and after our late arrival we just went straight to sleep. We woke the next morning, had a quick coffee and booked an Uber to the cruise port. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay before a cruise or flight

The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. However, the air conditioning was a bit noisy. Slippers are not provided, so remember to bring your own. There's a coffee shop and a pizza place on the ground floor, which is very convenient for dining and drinks. Orlando summers are hot and sunny, and I felt walking to Universal Studios was a bit far. I'd recommend taking a taxi.

Orlando Disney was absolutely fantastic! The service and facilities were excellent. Check-in at the front desk was fast, and there was always someone available 24/7 to assist. The lobby also features a Fuel convenience store where you can pick up drinks, fruit, and sandwiches, which was incredibly convenient! Both the Dolphin and Swan resorts offer frequent shuttle boats to all the parks. Will definitely be back!

This is a clean, good location and cost-effective hotel close at the Orlando Airport. The breakfast has assorted of choices. It's freely using at the lobby for my business meeting there. It is a good choice and highly recommended.

Good value for money hotel. Parking is $16 a day. 5 minutes walk to Teba Park, where Ferris wheels and luxury restaurants are gathered. About 30 minutes by car from the airport. The room was clean and the breakfast was not bad.

Hotel is Beautiful & location is Great.
We had a standard 2 queen room which was pretty bare. Bed was fine, but just one armchair which was Very hard!
We normally stay in a 2bedroom villa on property so this was a disappointment.
The Mercado restaurant chicken bowl was Delicious, & Toledo Restaurant is Fabulous!!!

Hotel was comfortable and the room was cosy n clean. All facilities were provided. Location is closed to airport but have to take a taxi or Uber as such the costs increase. We had to take early flight so missed breakfast. We basically stayed for few hours, rested well as the beds were comfortable. Someone was at reception desk all the time which was convenient and felt good. We arrived quite late in the night and left early morning and the reception was manned.
This is one of our favourite hotels anywhere. We took our entire three generation family there from the UK a couple of years ago and this year we effectively added a two day stay onto a two week villa rental vacation just so that we could revisit the hotel and play the golf course. We did have a few complaints about two things.
We visited the Italian restaurant’ Cala Bella’ and whilst we enjoyed most of our starters we didn’t really enjoy our main courses with the food feeling pre prepared and warmed up rather than fresh. We sent some back and there was no quibble about taking these off the bill but it was a disappointing dining experience. For that money in a top class hotel everything should be freshly prepared
We felt that some of the charges were excessive, a 20% service charge on a $30 self serve breakfast buffet is scandalous . Similarly $32/day for self parking felt excessive.
This was our third visit to this hotel- will there be a fourth ?

Great
One of the affordable ritz carlton but it seems that the hotel is a little bit outdated. Great location tho
We booked the ocean view but was blocked by the building structure, so better not to take #10-06. no heating utensil such as kettle if you need hot water. fridge is only intended for their inhouse drink so you can't put your drink inside their fridge to chill. but the concierge was friendly and great. Overall still not bad.
Stayed for two nights room only. I really liked the design of the hotel, artwork and facilities. The pool area is really nice and they have their own sun beds on Miami Beach which are complementary for hotel guests. Hotel is about 1 street back from the beach but still a wonderful location. The room was comfortable without being spectacular, everything worked and it was a decent size. Rooms are not as interestingly designed as the rest of the hotel. All staff I talked to were very nice and helpful but at both checkin and checkout there were long lines to speak to someone. We waited over 20 mins to start the checkin process. Overall I would be happy to stay at The Gates Hotel again.
So pleased with service the moment we pulled up. We were greeted with most respectful parking attendants, and we had plenty of time to checkin and gather all belongings. Hotel provided excellent breakfast selection, beautiful pool, fitness center, as well as a fun engaging shuttle ride to their closest drop off location. On our trip, thanks to our wonderful parking attendants we were able to meet, Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart!!! How bad ass vacation is that! We are forever grateful. Now, for one unpleasant experience…. On our last night stay, we did experience a not so polite front desk associate. Our party wanted to utilize beautiful balcony area to play cards and laugh but there was a sign, stating bad weather patio was closed. We were bummed but made arrangements to sit inside lobby area instead. We also asked if we could have new top cover blankets for our room, coming back from the beach sand got all over them. We were told it would be a very long time before we would receive them, all blankets were locked up, and housekeeping was already gone. We stated no problem!! One of our party members got a little chilly inside lobby area, so we asked if we could have a small blanket to use. Associate handed us a small blanket to use so we could continue playing cards in lobby. We looked up weather conditions and storm had moved past, so we informed front desk associate storm moved passed, if we could use outside balcony. Extremely frustrated with us, front desk associate ripped signage off, unlocked door, and told us all mosquitoes were outside!! WTF??? Next morning checking out, we informed hotel manager Laura one of her associates was unpleasant and rude last night. Ms. Laura apologized on behalf of her associate and informed us she would be speaking and addressing her behavior directly. Thanks again, Fairfield Marriott for the wonderful stay, parking attendants were so wonderful and polite!! Thank you!
I've now stayed at 8 different hotels in or near WDW so far in 2025, including 3 in the Disney Springs area. The Ren is #3 both overall, and near Disney Springs (Hilton Palace, and Hyatt BV are the two I prefer). The staff at the Ren were univserally great and their warmth seemed genuine. I also thought the food in the restaurant/lounge was unuually good for standard American grub; they make staple items like sandwiches and breakfast spreads much better than average. Clearly, whoever's in charge of F&B is a star, even if creativity was lacking. I was traveling with my senior citizen mother, so we requested an accessible room. Sometimes, this gets you an oddly shaped room that is a waste of square footage. This wasn't really the case at the Ren, though there was still a longish hallway between the door and the living space. But, it was basically just a normal room with a large bathroom. The bedding, furniture, and toiletries were all up to brand standard. The pool was just okay IMO, but certainly isn't a reason to book elsewhere. They hand out coupons for free drinks/appetizers every day; be sure to ask if you don't see them in your ”passport” folder. I think I'll stay there again next year because my mom really liked it (i.e. she was treated especially well), and it was a pretty good value (all of the DS hotels are in the same general price range, but the Ren is on the lower end of the spetrum and their resort fee is less onerous than some of the others...maybe because it's less of a resort, which is okay with me).
