Reviews: Japan SoftBank 5G Local eSIM | Japan IP • All AI & TikTok | Day Pass/Total Data Package | 24-Hour Billing | QR Code
Guest User2026-08-06
Installation is quick and easy. Simply scan the QR code on your phone to add the service beforehand, and you can connect to the network as soon as you arrive at your destination. The 3GB high-speed data per day is more than enough; in actual use, it's around 2GB per day.★

Reviews: Japan DOCOMO 5G eSIM | Native IP • All AI & TikTok | 1–30 Days | QR Code
Guest User2026-11-06
The native network is correct, but it appears less frequently compared to the SoftBank 5G plans my travel companions bought. This Docomo network is mostly in LTE mode, but I don't think it will have any impact, just a slight slowness. Simply browsing the web, using Instagram, and browsing GPT are all perfectly normal. Considering the price difference of three times compared to the native SoftBank network, I think this is a cost-effective option if you're not looking for the ultimate network speed.★

Excellent eSIM, everything worked perfectly from arrival. Installation via QR code was quick and easy, and the connection was stable throughout the trip. Google Maps and ChatGPT worked smoothly, and 30GB was more than enough for 7 days. Highly recommended for anyone travelling to Japan!★

Hopefully everything will go well, but the others I've bought work perfectly, so I hope this one will be the same.★

Reviews: Japan docomo Native 5G eSIM | Supports Google Maps / TikTok / ChatGPT | Daily / Total Data Plan | 1–30 Days | Calendar Day Billing | QR Code
Guest User2026-11-06
I bought this eSIM for my trip to Japan. Setting it up was really quick, and it worked perfectly right from day one!
One important thing to note though: it does not run on 24‑hour cycles. Instead, it expires at midnight on the day you activate it. If you turn it on at 6 p.m., for example, you only get six hours of use for a full day’s price. I had assumed it would last 24 hours, so on my last morning before my flight, I suddenly had no internet left.
Apart from that surprise, it’s excellent — easy to use and highly recommended!★
