Highlights: Xingcheng Ancient City was built at the start of the Ming dynasty. It is one of China's best preserved Ming dynasty cities. The city has a grid-plan layout and boasts a number of attractions including a bell tower, fort, and traditional Chinese arches. The wall provides an excellent view over Xingcheng, and the old town has a pedestrianized street lined with quaint shops.
