The museum I wanted to visit the most when I visited Azumino. First of all, the red brick museum itself designed by Kaneji Imai is full of highlights. The details such as the door handle and the fireplace are also interesting. The exhibition in the hall is also wonderful. I forget the time, including Rozan's masterpiece, women. Highly recommended for art and architectural fans.

I got off at Hotaka Station without a plan. When I checked Google Maps, I found the Rozan Museum of Art. It's a small museum, but the autumn scenery is beautiful. It is a 7-minute walk from Hotaka Station (JR Oita Line). Masks, disinfection and contact registration are required to prevent infection. The admission fee is about ７００ yen, and the cost performance is good. You can see the exterior of the building and the works of the guard of Ogiwara (Rozan). Even if you are not interested in sculpture, you can enjoy the building and garden.
