I was completely depressed and sad! When I first discovered Lambug Beach in 2013, that’s what many people said. The water was and is still primitive. But, it used to be a great place. I used to have to pay to get in, only a few Nippa Cottage pubs, and dogs weren't a problem. Now they have to build many Nipa lodge bars on the beach, which causes too much garbage and no one to pick it up, leading dogs from all sides to frequent the area in search of food. There are no real regulations in the Philippines. If you are just building something anywhere, local governments are likely not to interfere. This is the old adage that asking forgiveness is better than allowing.

One of my fave beaches in The Philippines!Getting There - Go to South Bus Terminal (near E-Mall) Ride a bus going to Bato via Barili (Fare could range between P150-P170 one way). Travel time from Cebu City to Lambug Beach is 3 to 3.5 hours depending on traffic. Disembark at the corner heading for Lambug Beach, Make sure to tell the bus steward that you will disembark at the corner for Lambug Beach. From that corner, charter a habal-habal or tricycle to bring you to Lambug Beach. Attractions - Canyoneering, Beaching, Camping Hotels - There are a lot of hotels or hostels by Lambug beach. Food & Restaurants - Food stalls can be found by the beach and there are some restaurants around too. Shopping - You can shop first before going to Badian. A beautiful stretch of white sand, Lambug Beach has that quintessential Philippine vibe with coconut palm trees leaning towards the crystal clear aquamarine ocean. It isn’t very well known outside of the local community, so you could be the only tourists here. It’s paradise away from the crowds. Quick dip in the southThe quieter and calmer Lambug Beach is about a half-hour tricycle ride from Panagsama Beach. Getting cozy and lazyBadian, Cebu is known for being a famous canyoneering experience site, however there's a hidden treasure named Lambug Beach within the neighborhood. This public beach is a nice area to relax and enjoy the sun on a lazy day. This site is rather uncrowded, although there are several hotels or cottages surrounding the beach area where you can stay if you want to remain overnight.
