I visited the Charm City (city of Baltimore, in Maryland) because I wanted to witness the George Peabody Library, which is truly one of the world’s most beautiful library spaces. It contains massive volumes of 19th century works of arts, literature and beyond. Many travelers come here to immerse themselves in this beautiful architecture and look up to the skylight, which is said to be 61 ft above the floor. Totally worth the visit!
