Beijing Tongjiao Temple

The Tongjiao Temple is located in the Needle and Thread Hutong in Dongzhimen, Beijing. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty. It was first created for a eunuch in the Ming Dynasty, and was renamed the "Tongjiao Zen Forest" in the Qing Dynasty. In 1942, Kaihui Shengyu expanded the temple. Changed the mountain gate to sit west to east, and moved the residents around the temple, the temple area expanded to more than 4 acres, and the temple was renamed "Tongjiao Temple".
