City Site of Yuan Dynasty

When I went to Beijing, I accidentally found this attraction near the hotel. It is an open park. Many people passed by and came to stroll around. There are many historical sites inside, and there are many locals dancing and singing. Still quite interesting.

After Kublaiding capital Beijing began to build Yuan Dadu, which opened in 1267 and was built in 1276, and is more than 700 years old. The scope of Yuan Dadu is still a certain difference from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The gates of the Yuan Dynasty are no longer there, but there are still more than ten kilometers of the ruins of the city wall that have been retained so far, that is, the current West Tucheng and North Tucheng, but I can’t see the appearance of the city wall. There are only continuous mounds. That is the site of the city wall of the world's most powerful national capital. The moat of the Yuan Dynasty is still preserved on the outside of the city wall site, which is now the Xiaoyue River. The park has been built along both sides of the city wall site area, which is the Yuan Metropolitan City Wall Site Park. The park is divided into Haidian Section and Chaoyang Section. The southernmost end of Xitucheng City is to Xueyuan South Road, and the easternmost end of Beitu City is to the Beijing-Cheng Expressway. Every short distance, some Yuan-era themed landscapes are built. Some landscapes are still very famous monuments. For example, the most famous landscape in the West Tucheng part is one of the "Yanjing Eight Views" of the "Yanmen Tobacco Tree", and the most famous part of the North Tucheng part should be "Haitang Flower Creek". Because I used to work in the garden road for a while, I passed by the West Tucheng every day, and the work unit was a little south of the North Tucheng, next to the "Dadu Jiandian" landscape. I often went to the park at noon and rested in the small square in front of the statue group. So the western part of the Tucheng and the western part of the northern part of the Tucheng are very familiar, and the eastern part of the northern part of the eastern part of the Tucheng has not been seen, today is specially to "fill the leak". Today is a sunny day, the sun is good, from the location near the Jiandemen Bridge into the park, the water in the Xiaoyue River is very shallow, but very clear, you can clearly see that there are many small fish in the water moving quickly, a group of groups, the river banks are tall trees, At first glance, it is the result of many years of construction. Occasionally, you can see the stray cats on the riverside soil wall. Some people feed them. It seems that they have a good time. While eating cat food, they are still paying attention to the birds not far away. Every other section of the narrow park will appear some landscapes, such as Hummer statues, artillery statues, pastoral statues, etc., all highlighting the identity and characteristics of the pioneers of the Yuan Dynasty. I think the large landscape on the east side of the north Tucheng is more large than the other half, and the scale is also more grand. The larger ones are Shuangdu Xunxing, Four Seas Binpeng, Haitang Huaxi, Anding Shenghui, Most of them are Dingsheng, Water Street Huaden, Longze Yuyue, etc. Among them, "Dadu Dingsheng" is obviously the most magnificent landscape in the entire Yuanda Metropolitan Ruins Park. The tall Genghis Khan statue is erected on a three-story high platform, with many statues such as officials, martial arts and so on. There is a large square in front of the high platform. There are also statues in the square. Very shocking. However, the biggest name of this part is the "Haitang Flower Creek". There are various varieties of seagull trees planted on the banks of the two sides. When the April flowering period is really said to be a colorful seagull flower sea. Now it is not the flowering period that you can't see the flowers. But it was equally wonderful to see the seagull tree full of fruit. From the Jiandemen Bridge to the park, until the Beijing-Chengdu Expressway exited the park, the whole journey took 6,000 steps, it is estimated that there is about five kilometers, today's exercise is enough

National VI. The city wall site is mainly on the southern edge of Yuandadu Ruins Park. Yuanda is suitable for enjoying flowers and birds, that is, the popularity is too high on weekends, and parking spaces nearby are difficult to find. There are some restaurants outside the north gate, and non-meal points can be suspended for a while.

Yuan Dadu City Wall site has several sections, today is the North Tucheng West Road and the West Tucheng part. I worked in the Peony Garden for several years ago. It was next to the Chenghuang ruins, but I didn’t come in for a few years. On the contrary, I left for more than ten years before I came back to see it. I didn’t pay attention at that time. I didn’t pay attention to passing by the city of Yuanda hundreds of years ago every day. Wall.
