Music fans from Toronto were on a quick trip over the weekend and thought we'd walk through Elmwood Village to see the annual "porch event," where a lot of bands played on the porch of the old and beautiful Buffalo mansion. It was a great experience, hanging out on the street with a glass of beer (it seemed like a "pass" that day), stopping on every two porches where the band played, and singing a few songs. Sometimes it rains heavily, but we can find a place to shelter from the rain on the terrace of a nearby restaurant and enjoy the band playing there. If you’re not in town drinking mansions but enjoying the old buildings, I would definitely recommend a coffee and strolling down the street. Gorgeous house.
