This site is one of the typical private hotels of the sixteenth century. The loggias, high roofs, lanterns and skylights in the courtyard are all features of the Italian Renaissance. The hotel was destroyed in 1944 and has been extensively restored. It is now the seat of the Caen La Mer Tourist Office.
