Churches and Cathedrals
旅の径
Toledo Cathedral, the second largest church in Spain, is located in the center of the ancient city. In the 6th century, the Goths established a religious temple here; in the 9th century, the Moors changed to Islamic temples; in1226-1493, it was converted into a Catholic church. The towering bell tower, the magnificent vault, the wide atmosphere of the nave, the small chapel of the stars and the moon... One rare treasure has made the exquisite masterpiece of the gothic architecture and become the classic landmark of the ancient city. The 90-meter-high bell tower of the church is the highest point of the ancient city. Walking through the narrow streets of Wanyan, looking up... You can always see her, and you will not get lost. In the town hall square in front of the cathedral, there are often self-effacing street artists performing, adding a bit of elegant art.

Castles
旅の径
Toledo's Alcasar Castle, located at the highest point of the ancient city, the condescending castle, has a long history and a lot of fate. In the third century, a Roman palace was built; in the tenth century, Muslims conquered Toledo and built the ancient city's commanding heights as a fortress; In the eleventh century, Christianity recaptured Toledo and built a castle there; during the reign of Carlos I in the sixteenth century, the castle was converted into a royal palace. His successor, Philip II, moved to Madrid, and the castle lost its original status as a prison, barracks, workshops and army academy. During the Spanish Civil War, the castle was severely damaged in the war. After the war, Franco ordered the castle to be rebuilt and preserved as it was. The castle is now spectacular and still in the same state; the bottom of the castle has a few ruins left for memorial; the main body of the castle has become a military museum and library; On the top floor of the castle, 360° without dead ends will have a panoramic view of the ancient city.

This museum is generally very good and I like it very much. The area is relatively large and divided into several areas. There are many European paintings. You must rent headphones with translation functions. It is difficult to understand and appreciate comprehensively without headphones. Enter the security check and go straight to the lobby in front of the left to borrow it.

Although you can buy tickets on the spot on the same day without booking tickets, you can see the big long chandeliers queuing up in the big sun. Fortunately, you bought an electronic ticket in advance. It’s right to say that it’s beautiful. The most impressive thing is the giant chandeliers in each room.

Simple understanding of Spanish bullfighting, the price is small, the scene feels a bit different from the imagination, it feels better if you can watch the bullfighting show on the spot. There is a chance to watch the next itinerary.

Statues/Sculptures
旅の径
The site of the Puerta del Sol, originally a gate facing the east on the 15th century Madrid wall, was named after the upper floor decorated with the pattern of the rising sun; in the continuous expansion of the city, the gate was demolished in 1570. The square, which was built, retained the name of "Puerta del Sol" and gradually became the center of the city. From the aerial aerial view, the 10 streets and alleys are radiant, like the rising sun and shining. In the center of the square, oval fountains on both sides of the east and west, surrounded by the statue of Carlos III sitting in the C position. The king, who built Madrid's vast infrastructure and was admired by the people of Madrid, rode a high-headed horse and sat smilingly watching the wind and clouds of the square and the changes of the city. On the south side is the most classic building in the square - the Security Bureau Building. The building built from 1766 to 1768 (the bell tower was built in 1867), the simple and bright style, the red and white facade, conveying the atmosphere of neoclassical palace architecture. The building was originally the central post office in Madrid, later the headquarters of the Franco-era Ministry of National Security, and is now the government office building in Madrid. For quite a while, the Spanish people loved the clock on the roof of the Security Bureau building, and regarded the clock as Spanish standard time, and it was honored to come here to watch. Today, people gather in the square to listen to the New Year bells of the building. On the north side, four slightly curved buildings lined up all the way, with stylish facades and white crystals; The top of the building is towering "TIO PEPE" (the world's first brand of sherry) advertising, exaggerated with elegance, cute cute. The ground of the street in front of the main entrance of the Security Bureau building is embedded with the road zero kilometers logo. Semicircular logo engraved with maps of Spain and the Iberian Peninsula and the words "0 km, road starting point". Spanish roads calculate miles from this point, Madrid streets prepare house numbers from this point. Without a shadow, the shoes underfoot have not set foot in Madrid.

Wandering through the Alhambra, I found myself immersed in a tapestry of Islamic artistry and Andalusian history. The intricate carvings of the Nasrid Palaces mesmerized with their geometric patterns and delicate stucco work, reflecting the interplay of light and shadow. The Generalife's lush gardens offered a serene oasis, adorned with vibrant flowers and tranquil fountains that echoed the sound of flowing water. From the Alcazaba, the ancient fortress, I beheld sweeping views of Granada below, framed by the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains. Each courtyard and archway told a story of Moorish culture and sophistication, evoking a sense of timelessness and wonder. As the sun dipped behind the horizon, casting a warm glow over the red walls, the Alhambra revealed itself as a sanctuary of beauty and history, leaving an indelible mark on my soul.

Mosques
MaxS
This building is officially called politically correct: "The Mosque-Cathedral Complex in Cordoba." But colloquially, the name is shorter — the Mosque "Alhamah", or simply "Mosque", or "Mesquite".As in most other cities with a history dating back thousands of years, most of the buildings stand in place of those that existed before. So, once in the center of Roman Cordoba there was a temple dedicated to the sun god. Later, the Visigoths built the temple of San Vicente in its place. After the transfer of the city to the Arabs in 711, both Muslims and Christians used it together, dividing it into two zones. But the prosperous city grew rapidly, space became scarce, and in 786, Abdarrahman I bought the Christian part of the church and some other buildings around. In just a few years, a magnificent mosque was built on this site.Columns, capitals, and stone from various Roman and Visigothic structures in Spain, Europe, and even Africa were used to speed up construction. Therefore, the oldest part of Mesquite is actually an archaeological museum.Later, as the city grew, the Mosque was expanded three times under different rulers: under Abdarrahman II and Alhakim II, the length increased to the south, to the river, and to the north, due to the expansion of the courtyard. Under Vizier Almanzor (Al Mansour), the largest increase in the complex took place, almost doubling, due to an extension on the eastern side. As a result, the total area reached almost 24 thousand square meters. Before going inside, we walked around this giant rectangle from three sides. As always, with the arrival of Christians, Muslim and Christian details began to become closely intertwined. For example, on the southern facade there are Christian frescoes and sculptures under the Arab arches.
