Nanwenquan Park is located in Nanwenquan Scenic Area in the southern suburbs of Chongqing. It was built in 1927. The park is divided into four major Attraction: Daquan Attraction, Huayuan Scenic Attraction, Fairy Cave Attraction, and Zhushiyuan Attraction. Nanwenquan Park is one of the new "Twelve Scenic Spots of Bayu". It has mountains, water, springs, forests, caves, waterfalls, and unique hot springs and the winding Huaxi River, which form a beautiful natural landscape. Nanwenquan Park is located at the intersection of Baxian Mountain Range and Tushan Mountain Range. The mountains are winding and the peaks are green. The beautiful scenery composed of mountains, water, forests, waterfalls, caves, springs, and celebrity monuments and legends makes Nanquan particularly attractive. Nanquan is one of the tourist scenic spots in Chongqing and is famous for its hot springs. It was discovered in the Ming Dynasty and built in the Qing Dynasty. Its water quality is comparable to that of Huaqing Pool in Lintong. It has twelve scenic spots: Nantang Warm Swimming, Tiger Roaring Hanging Stream, Bow Bridge Floating Moon, Five Lakes Predicting Rain, Yanyu Returning Boat, Cliff Flying Spring, Three Gorges Thundering, Fairy Cave, Small Pond Slide, Jianwen Relics, Stone Cave Exploration and Huaxi Fishing, with the titles written by Lin Sen, the leader of the National Government.
