Maze
We had a lovely time in mountshannon and would have stayed longer except the rain. There is a great maze even me and my husband had difficulty to find the exit. Nice playground and walk to the marin...
Steer clear of trying to hire a boat
Couldn't be in this person's company when he remarked he doesn't hire his fishing boats to Dublin people. French and German customers only. Shocking thing to say to an Irish tourist in their own count...
Interesting bit of history
We booked with the local guide out of Mountshannon to get to the island. The provided tour book had great information. Very pretty setting.
Great time on Holy Island
Mountshannon is a lovely village, beautiful weather and trip to Holy Island made my day. Lovely place to visit for a family outing.
