Where were the goats?
Very upset by lack of goats but ruins as expected. Incredible views of the town. Worth the walk up.
Castle open
We have walked the path up to the castle today and as the April 2017 review suggests there is one locked gate however the other is definitely open - and as the reviewer suggests it appears the gate is...
It's closed
The chateau seems to now be closed to the public owing to safety concerns. We tried to visit but the gate was padlocked shut. The sign there also suggested that the north gate was closed. Disappointin...
Nice ruin
Recommend this ruin highly. Amazing views for miles and miles in every direction. If you go follow the signs "feudal castle" in the center of town. You can drive up to the gate which then has a 200...
Worth the climb!
For a great view over the Lac de Salagou, and surrounding countryside. The path is not really for the faint hearted especially on he the way down. W are really glad we climbed up!
