Original Text
A small two-story natural history museum on the left side of the entrance to Daisanji Temple on the large parking lot near the Daisanji bus stop, divided into 4 zones. There are videos, photographs, materials, and specimens of animals and plants related to the birth of Oyama, explaining the nature of Oyama in an easy-to-understand manner. Admission is free. Please come and visit us.
It is across the road from the Oyama Information Center. I had a little time so I visited. You can learn about the origin and history of Oyama, such as videos and pamphlets. There was a model of a diorama, and it was easy to understand because you could see the topography and mountain trails from a bird's-eye view. You can tour it for free, so it's a good place to stop by in between.
You can get information such as the geological history of Oyama, flora and fauna, and the history of Oyamaji Temple. You can also see the introduction by a short video. The explanation is only in Japanese. 2 From the observatory on the floor, if the weather is nice, you can see Yumigahama and the Sea of Japan.
A museum that you can enjoy for free, before and after climbing Mt. Oyama
