Soviet Martyrs Monument

Here is a monument in memory of the martyrs of the Soviet Army who defeated the Japanese army in 1945 and died gloriously in the war to liberate the Northeast of China. The inscription says "The martyrs who died gloriously for the freedom and happiness of the people of China and the Soviet Union will live forever." May the friendship between China and the Soviet Union last forever.

In the early period of Japan's surrender, the Soviet Union marched into the Northeast, accelerating the process of Japan's surrender. After the founding of New China, Sino-Soviet relations were friendly, leaving a memorial tower for Soviet martyrs.
