Yingchengzi Bihuamu

Yingchengzi Mural Tomb, south of Shagang Village, Yingchengzi, Ganjingzi District, Dalian City. It is a brick tomb in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Discovered in 1931, it was destroyed by outsiders. The Yingchengzi mural tomb is large in scale, and the style of architecture and murals is unique. In the middle is the main room, and the outer cover is a tall suite. There are also a front room, a back room and an east room outside the suite, and the rooms are connected. There is a cemetery in the south. The bricks have patterns such as rings, feathers and squares, and are painted with vermilion powder. Colorful murals are painted on the east, south and north walls of the main room. The ascension of the owner of the northern mural tomb. The master is in the center, crowned with a sword, guided by an old man in front, and accompanied by a waiter in the back. There is a feather in the air opposite, stepping on the cloud to greet him. Suzaku and Qinglong are painted on it, flying left and right. There are three people looking at the sky to make sacrifices, one bow, one kneeling, one standing. On the east and south walls, there are Liuyun, Suzaku, monsters, and doormen. Various images are outlined with ink lines, and are colored with vermilion powder and ochre red. It is of great value to understand the living conditions of the nobles and wealthy families at that time and to study the early painting art of our country. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, a large house was built outside the tomb for protection. There are steps up and down the room for viewing.
