Meh. Not worth the side trip out there.
The old house offers a glimpse of rooms where wealthy people lived in colonial and Victorian times. And that alone might attract some curious travelers. But the gardens in November were disappointing....

A quiet respite from downtown.
Nice gardens and hacienda with period furnishings. Great if you have an extra day - this is a ways from downtown, but walkable if you have the time and energy.
