I can see the way we lived at that time.

From the instruction manual, it is a building purchased by the Yamamura family in the Meiji era and donated to Hagi City in the Heisei period. Currently, it is a base for the transmission of Hamasaki culture. Inside the house, the state of life at that time is exhibited. The staff is also stationed, so they will tell you a lot.
The two-tone color of the gray wall and the dark tea wall is wonderful. I had the impression that it resembled a house in Gosho Town, Nara Prefecture. I think it's the most wonderful townhouse in the Hamasaki area.
It is the central spot of the white wall district!

The former Yamamura family residence is a tourist spot located in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, about 10 minutes by car from Hagi Station. The white-walled building is characteristic, and it is the central spot of this district where the white-walled building is located around this spot. It's not a very big building, but it was a spot that would be a base for sightseeing around the area.
The former Yamamura family residence was built in the Edo period in the "Former Hagi Domain Mifunekura" area near Higashi Hagi Station even in Hagi City. The building at that time, which was called Machiya, had a beautiful white plaster wall.
The former Yamamura family residence is a townhouse when it was built in the beautiful Edo period with a plaster wall just north of the former Hagi clan Mifunekura. It is built on a corner facing a quiet wide road, so you can overlook the entire building. Since it is located in the Hamasaki district, which is selected as an important preservation district for traditional buildings, you can enjoy the surrounding townscape itself.
