A green park where there was a castle in ancient times

    Original Text

Tsukikuma Park is a park centered on Mt. Tsukikuma in Hita City. It was a little north of Mameda Town, where the cityscape of Hita prospered as a tenryo remains. It seems that Mt. Tsukikuma, where this Tsukikuma Park is located, had a castle called Nagayama Castle in the old days, and it became the residence of Hita Daikan during the Tokugawa Shogunate. Therefore, it was a green park with stone walls and moats remaining.

I parked my car in the parking lot next to the park and walked around Hita town.

Hita, a castle town that prospered as a tenryo during the Edo period. I parked my car in the parking lot next to Tsukikuma Park to take a walk in Mameda Town, where the old townscape remains. Tsukikuma Park was located in Nagayama Castle during the Edo period and became the residence of Hita Daikan. Nowadays, the ruins of the castle were only part of the stone wall and moat, but it was a park where you could visit the stone walls, white walls and moats of the castle ruins with a promenade. Masuda Cho is an old town, the road is narrow and the parking lot is not found very much. ...

    Xiaochuan's の City Walk

    Original Text

It is a visit by car. The Mameda Kita parking lot is available for free. You can see the stone wall using round stones. It seems that this used the stone of the riverbank. There are holes everywhere. This is the remains of a tomb in the Kofun period. These are listed on the local explanation board.

    A thousand years

    Original Text

At the Hita Tenryo Festival, which will be held in November, a thousand-year-old light that lights bamboo is held. Tsukikuma Park was also lit up and it was very beautiful.

I thought there was a castle.

    Original Text

Park your car in the parking lot of Mameda Town and walk through Hita Town. Go along Miyuki-dori toward Tsukikuma Park. This is the place where the castle was in front of Tenryo. I see, the town is overlooked.
