The Sai Wan River Peace Gospel Church came to Hong Kong Island from Tsim Sha Tsui Tong Branch in 1992 and was sited in the Golden Sea Building, when there were fewer than 100 members. By God's grace and leadership, the number of people gathered in 5-6 has been growing. Since 1997, the church has noticed that the local application is not enough, especially with Sunday school, Bible study class, and Saturday fellowship gathering space is more crowded, so at that time, there is the idea of adding a place near Jinhai Building for gatherings, and watching God's leadership for this purpose.
