    Beautiful place

    Nice little museum in Djerba Houmt Souk. Highly recommended to visit. More artefacts would do better justice to this beautiful fort.

    We found this site quite expensive for local standards. It’s worth noting that the ground is very rough and not level so please wear appropriate footwear.

    Nice bit of history

    We asked the taxi to stop while we visited the fortress, however it was closed on Friday morning at 10 am. We looked over the port and around the ancient fortress whose walls could tell many stories.
