Today's walk course (Ichikawa city)
Original Text
It's been a long time since I visited again. The precincts are large and various trees are planted. The azaleas were in full bloom this season. Even though it was azaleas, it seemed like a different type of azaleas.
Surrounded by detached houses. There is a park next door, and it seems that children are playing in the precincts (was warned by the people at the shrine). There is no place to take a break or sit in the precincts. The whole thing is in good condition, so I'm thinking of coming back when the flowers bloom. There is a monument of Kafu Nagai.

A shrine enshrined in Kanno, Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture. The old shrine ranking is a village shrine and is the guardian of Kanno. It is enshrined at the highest terrain of Kanno. As it is called 'shirahata Tenjin Jinja shrine', it is also a shrine of Tenjin faith, but Tenjin (Sugawara no michizane) was enshrined later, and Takeuchi sukune was enshrined from the time of its founding to the Meiji period. A shrine with a deep connection with Hachiman faith so that the legend of minamoto no Yoritomo remains.
Shirahataten Shrine, a shrine in Honhachiman. Although it is located in a residential area, only this shrine is surrounded by greenery and feels calm. It was about before the evening of a weekday, but many people were worshiping.
I visited "Shirahataten Shrine" in Ichikawa City in April. Cherry blossoms remained in the precincts, and it was a picturesque sight. There were many historic sites and stone monuments, and it was a shrine with more attractions than I had imagined.

I think it is a symbolic shrine in the area.

The cherry blossoms were beautiful.
