Civil Engineering Heritage Selected by the Society of Civil Engineering. The appearance and color are a little plain.

It is close to Hachiman Shrine where "train runs in the precincts". There is little space to park the car nearby, so I parked the car at Aeon Daian on the opposite bank of the Izuben River and finished lunch, and it was about 13 minutes walk along Route 421. The bridge is said to be a "civil engineering heritage selected by the Society of Civil Engineering", but the appearance and color are a little sober. Manju Saka was in full bloom on the edge of the nearby rice field, and I was able to take a good picture with it in the background.
it's covered with weeds, and it doesn't look very good.

The bridge was hanging on the Akechi River in 1916, and the official name is "Akechigawa Arch Bridge". It is a three-arch bridge made of concrete blocks and is certified as a civil engineering heritage selected by the Civil Engineering Society. Although it is called the glass bridge, the arch is three consecutive, and it is covered with more than half of the weeds, and it cannot see the appearance like glasses.

It is a shooting location that can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot from Sohara Station on the Sanki Railway Hokusei Line. When it is sunny, you can take beautiful pictures of the blue sky, yellow trains, rice fields and grass greens. The road is narrow in the rice fields and there is no place to stop the car. We strongly recommend going on the Hokusei Line when shooting.
It is a glass bridge, a tourist spot between Sohara - Asoda on the Hokusei Line of Sanki Railway. It is a rare bridge with concrete blocks instead of masonry.
From the nearest station, Sohara Station, it is about a 20 walk in the old town and rural scenery. The 3 glasses bridge with good shape blends into the picturesque scenery from the right side and diagonally. There is another stone bridge called "Twisted Bridge" near here, which is a rare bridge with a manufacturing method called "Twisted Manbo". This bridge can be dived underneath, so you can observe its manufacturing method and structure. In addition to these bridges, the largest slope of this route (Sanki railway hokusei line) near Chubara station is ...

The contrast with the yellow train is a picture.
