not the monument, the view is great
The monument itself and is not something special. The location is. The trip from the parking space (approx. 30 -45 min, rocky track) shows great views, and in somertime a lot of flowers.
Grand Ballon Visit - Lieux de Memoire
If you are visiting the Grand Ballon, visiting this monument is de riguer ...it is only steps from the summit. It consists of a granite pyramid and a bronze statue bearing the image of a Chasseur...
