History or myth?
1300 years old big tree in front of a small shrine. Older than Izumo Taisha? The actual site is small, and it doesn't look very special. With some imagination, it starts shining.
It is a shrine dedicated to a very grateful god called the Shinno Sanreijin. Behind the hall of worship is the Manai ruins, and you can see the magatama excavated here in the treasure hall of Izumo Taisha Shrine. It was in a dense place, and the atmosphere was a little scary 々. It's a power spot, but it's too power. I think it's a place where you should correct your collar and worship quietly.
Before visiting Izumo Taisha Shrine, I was curious when I saw a post saying "Visit the big tree of the life main shrine" in a word of mouth somewhere, and I visited it. After worshiping at Izumo Taisha Shrine, when I left the seven gates, the residential area continued, and I was worried that it would be really good here, but if I proceeded as it was, there was a guide to the entrance on the left side. Although it is small as a shrine, the presence of mukunoki standing by is impressive. It looked as if they were protecting each other.
From Kitajima Kunizokan, follow Shake-dori toward Shimizu in Manai. Enshrines the spirit god of the emperor. It's a small shrine, but the history seems to be old. There is a big fir tree in front of the shrine.
If you leave Kitajima Kunizukurikan and go further east, you will find this on your left. The deity of the deity, Sansuhimei, seems to be a god that is one of the three gods of the Kojiki period. The shrine itself is not that big, but the muku tree located in front of it seems to be 1000 years old and has a strong presence.
