Many restaurants and bars
Took the KC Streetcar to Westport to grab a bite to eat. The food was great! If you like to eat and have a good time this is the place to be in the late afternoon/evening.
One Cool Part of KC
Cool area of the city, with good bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and general shopping (Half Price Books, Mills Music, etc.) in older, historic part of town. Lots to see & do in the area.
books
Half-Price bookstore is here. It is a HUGE place with sharp staff, with answers. My book request turned up "out of print" and not available , but I got advice on where else to search.
Great place to go on a weekend night
Westport is a fun district with neat places. We love the Beer Kitchen and the Westport Cafe, but there are so many other options as well.

I stayed in this area on a recent trip. The area is very nice with some shops and places to eat. Also for a walk.
