Absolutely brilliant climb, it was challenging very steep up hill, definitely worth it tho the scenery is just soooo amazing!

For a mountain in the Lake's we found it pretty steep and rocky underfoot, We prefer our mountains a little flatter.
Down from Carlside Tarn
The path down to Millbeck from Carlside Tarn is not obvious from OS map. We and two other groups looked for it down from the top of a dangerous looking scree slope. Not the right route. It's up over...
