A great ride
This road is wonderful if you ride a motorcycle. It is windy and the surface is quite consistently good. You need to be careful of cars making unexpected and unsignalled turns into properties.
I have already called and voiced my opinions with the ranger. Here is a Summary: Uphill, the road was windy and too much fog. I couldn't see anything. Disappointing.
The countryside around Jamberoo is beautiful. It is the perfect retreat for city folk and less than 2 hours drive from Sydney or a little longer if you stop at Levendi harbourside cafe with outdoor se...
Great alternative to Macquarie Pass. I find I can travel this route without getting carsick. Can't say the same for the Pass. Beautiful rainforest. Often see native lyrebirds.

Such a gorgeous drive
So much beauty as you drive down the mountain. Slow and steady is best, but that just means your passengers get to take in the surrounds
