A meeting place in the town where miso soy sauce shop was rebuilt

    Original Text

The Hokkoku Highway is a road that runs east and west on the northwest side of Komoro Ekimae-dori. The "Honmachi Machiyakan" is built along this highway. It was originally a renovated shop called Shimizuya made of miso and soy sauce. The building is elongated and slender in the back from the highway, and equipment that squeezed soy sauce, which was called a boat at that time, is also on display. Original Text

When I took a walk along the old Hokkoku Kaido Road, I stopped by to buy tourist information. It is interesting that the pulling line of the trolley is pulled from the back of the house to the dirt floor on the front and remains as it is. May dolls were displayed in the tatami room at the entrance, partly because the day of children was near. The back of the building is a small park where you can enjoy the view of Mt. Asama ...
