A wonderful temple with a connection with takauji Ashikaga

    Original Text

There is Potsun and Tahoto just a short distance from National Highway 27. It is said that Takauji Ashikaga, who had a territory in Tanba Province, moved to this place and built it. The Tahoto, which was built in the late Kamakura period, is brightly vermilion and is very beautiful. The main hall Bishamondo, which was built at the same time, is not so big, but it is a magnificent building with a cypress bark. It is a historic building built 700 years ago, so I hope it will continue to be maintained in the future.

    Su enemy な This hall

    Original Text

There is a vermilion-painted Tahoto and the main hall. Both are important cultural properties. Tahoto is said to have been erected by Takauji Ashikaga in 1339. It is a two-layered leather roof of Hosanma. The 12 pieces of the four-sided crotch are decorated. The main hall was relocated and built by Takauji Ashikaga in 1327, and is a single-story Irimoya-zukuri and a skull-leather roof. The slope of the nice roof shined in the blue sky.

    Red Tahoto

    Original Text

Located a little east of Route 27, it is a national important cultural property with a red Tahoto and a main hall. It seems that the monks of Kuramaji Temple opened it, and it is a temple related to the Ashikaga family. I was able to worship freely.

    Beautiful vermilion tower

    Original Text

Visited because it is a cultural property of Kyoto Prefecture. It sits in a residential area. It is an architecture that retains Chinese style, and it is a must-see even if you don't like history. Turn right from Route 27 and proceed about 200m.
