    Emperor kanmu's mausoleum

    Original Text

Go north of the Momoyama Imperial Mausoleum where Emperor Meiji sleeps, and you will find a quiet approach. There is a signpost for Emperor Kanmu's Imperial Mausoleum on a narrow path without traffic. The tumulus was like a dense mountain covered with trees 々. Emperor Kanmu, who established Heiankyo, is sleeping.

It's a place surrounded by a quiet forest.

    Original Text

There aren't many signboards, so it's hard to know where to enter. It's quiet and surrounded by trees 々, but there were jogging and walking 々. Even I, who is not familiar with history, remembers the name of Emperor Kanmu. It was a space that made me feel strange.

the imperial mausoleum of the emperor who moved to heiankyo.

    Original Text

Emperor Kanmu is the emperor who moved the capital from Nara Heijokyo to Kyoto and built Heiankyo. The tomb is located lower than the Meiji Emperor's Mausoleum and is small in scale, but it is still in good condition. It's a quiet place surrounded by greenery, so it's a good summer resort in summer, and there is also a walking course, so please visit. The nearest station is Kintetsu Tanba Bridge or Keihan Tanba Bridge.
