Good food at the hostel
We stopped here for lunch during our 23km walk along the river. The staff re friendly, the food was good but so expensive! 2 portions of veggie noodle soup, a tea and a soft drink came to around £24! ...
It was "Tokuzawa" with an impressive green lawn campsite and a small clear river with a view of the bottom.

It was "Tokuzawa" with an impressive green lawn campsite and a small clear river with a view of the bottom. In my case, I stopped by for a break on the way from Kamikochi Bus Terminal to Karasawa Hutte. Regarding the campsite with green lawns, according to the signboard, grazing was carried out in this area until the early Showa period, and it seems that it took advantage of it to become the current campsite.
Kappa Bridge ~ Myojin Pond ~ Breakfast break for a little over 3 hours.

I had never been there, so I went there from the morning on the first day of arrival. It took me a little over 3 hours to leave Kappa Bridge and via Myojin Pond and Kamonji Hut. It may depend on the weather, but when I visited, there were places where water was flowing into rivers and flowing in some places, so I had to be careful. When I arrived, there was a campsite, Tokuzawa Lodge and Tokuzawaen, and the tree 々 was beautiful. I didn't have a paid toilet because I didn't need it, but the family with me said it was beautiful and it was beautiful ...
When I visited Kamikochi, I went to Tokuzawa, which is located about an hour further from Myojin Pond. Hiking while looking at the Azusa River on the way. There was a riverside where there were so many monkeys. When you arrive around Okuzawa, there are many private camp tents! Not too many! ?? It seemed so popular that I thought. I had a soft serve ice cream at the mountain hut.
I stopped by on the way to Karasawa Karl. It seems to be a campsite, and many people stayed in tents. I think it's good to camp in such a place, not an auto campsite.
