Autumn in terraced rice fields
Original Text
Before harvesting, I caused the rice that fell due to the influence of the typhoon to make it easy to harvest. I understood the difficulty of the farmers.
I went there because it was selected as one of the 100 best rice terraces. I was able to see the beautiful scenery, but I was a little surprised that the range seen from the road was rather narrow.
You can feel the idyllic scenery and the beautiful mountains. The dead rice fields stood out here and there. There may be a reason for whether the farmer is short of staff or the reduction. So you may be disappointed if you aim for Instagram, but it's a wonderful place where you can enjoy nature.
The scale of "Uheyama Rice Terraces", which was selected as one of the 100 best terraces in Koshiro Ward, Kami Town, is small, but it is located in a remote place and you can spend a relaxing time looking at it. There was Yoshitaki nearby and it was good for sightseeing.
"Uheyama Rice Terraces" that I definitely want to see when I harvest

Since 2005, NPOs called the "Japan's most beautiful villages" union have been doing various activities to protect the original landscape of Japan that should not be lost. 66 agricultural and mountain fishing villages nationwide are members of this union, and "Uheyama Rice Terraces" in Nukita, Ojiro Ward, Kami Town, Hyogo Prefecture is one of them. It is called this way because it is a terraced rice field in the mountainous area (500m above sea level) of Nukita. "Uhe" is of course an old word.
