Huge fountain in the heart of the city. I could probably have rated with five stars, just it was sadly off. I hope you will find it on, I can only imagine how wonderful when working!

An enormous square!

this was a verey Stalinesque square and monument, really vast open space. The fountain has herond in flight symbols of Belarus recent independence. Beneath the square is a vast 3 level shopping centre...

Very Impressive Fountain

This is a very impressive fountain with the logos of the various states and regions on it. It also has the country's bird- a stork.

Fountain in Independence Square

I visited in April and the fountain was still dormant at that time (being the end of winter). As such there wasn't really too much to see. The area itself is nice and clean though.
