It is rumored that Zhu Yuanxuan collected 200,000 military and civilian artisans and filled Yanque Lake to "rebuilt a new city". The project began in 1366 AD and was completed for a year. Nanjing Ming Palace is the early Ming Dynasty palace. Due to historical weathering and the fighting operations of the Taiping Army and the Qing Army, the above-ground buildings have no longer existed except for the stone foundation buried underground. Today, the Ming Palace Square and the Wuchaomen Park have been built on the site of the Ming Palace, becoming a place for citizens to rest.
