Civil heritage
It is a dam of the Kansai Electric Power Co., Ltd. Soyama Power Station. It is said that it was selected as a civil engineering heritage, and it is said that it was the highest ５ dam before the war. It is said that it has been selected as "Japan's Modern Civil Engineering Heritage ～ Existing Important Civil Engineering Structure ２０００ Selection" by the Society of Civil Engineering. The site was a road by the lake dam, and it was a steep road with continuous snow shades.
A dam right above Ainokura Village

Lake Damm near Mt. Gokasa
It is a dam lake located deeper than the Aikura village, following the Higoekyo Gassho Line from the Gokayama Interchange. Although it is a backward place, it became a good destination for a drive after seeing the village because it proceeded along the beautifully paved Hikoshikyo Gassho Line. It was a natural lake surrounded by green mountains 々.
