The large roof like a modern gassho-zukuri is impressive. I went up the long stairs from the parking lot of Tara Road Station and entered the building, but there was a parking lot right next to the local hall. A pit-style residence is built in the center of the building. I was able to see interestingly about sericulture and smoke in the Gokayama traditional industry.

It is a facility on the premises of "Gokayama Washi no Sato" at Road Station Taira. A unique building with a prominent pointed roof. The main building, which has the image of Gassho-zukuri, introduces the history, industry and culture from the primitive era to today in an easy-to-understand manner using videos. It is a facility that introduces the traditional culture of Gokayama.
