Mud and thorn misery
How to ruin a Sunday! We came out for a post lunch walk. Thick with mud and clay on the lead up and at the base. Paths overgrown with thorns. Miserable. Home for a bath
Great views and tracks, bit of a hike to the top well worth it. May take provisions next time to enjoy a picnic. If you visit make sure you drop in to Bakers Arms in Child Okeford.
Very steep walk coming up from main central path but as found out it is less steep of a path coming up from the sides of the hill but views worth it as get to the top
A nice, and easily accessed, hill fort in a part of the country with a lot of hill forts. Though I preferred other views in the area, this probably has the optimal ratio of "good view" to "effort requ...

Good walking, fantastic view from the top you can see over to Glastonbury tor, and all around. Local pubs not to far away to walk to
