Maruweijia の Memorial Hall
Original Text
A Japanese house I stopped by when sightseeing in Omaezaki. As for the style of the house, it was quite beautiful and well maintained, so I didn't feel old, but it was built in the late Edo period. (Restored) Since it is a memorial hall for Kenji Maruo, an honorary citizen of Omaezaki, it is a museum for locals, and it may be a little difficult for general sightseeing of outsiders in the prefecture.

The Maruo Memorial Hall is open to the public as a memorial hall to honor the virtues of the Maruo family while restoring and preserving the Maruo residence built in the Edo period. It was a magnificent and quaint building. Materials from Ike Nitta Agricultural School and materials and photos when he was a member of the prefectural assembly were exhibited in the hall, which was made by Kenji Maruo.
Although it is the Maruo Memorial Hall, it is just north of Ike-Nitta High School. When I visited, a tea party was just held. Admission is free. You can see the inside in a magnificent building, but you can see historical materials and Mr. Maruo's magnificent career. According to the curator's explanation, I threw out my personal property and found out that he was the founder of the current Ikeshinda High School. It's a great person! There is also a parking lot, so you can rest assured by car.
