It was an important site for diplomacy for more than a century and is an excellent example of a Parisian townhouse of the late 18th century. Both the architecture and interior design are fine examples of French Enlightenment architecture. To this day, the townhouse is still used to host guests at diplomatic meetings, receptions and cultural events.
