It covers an area of 36 mu, with three roads in the east and west, and five courtyards in the front and back. There are 25 buildings from the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and 53 inscriptions from the Jin to Qing dynasties. There are 24 buildings from the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties with 159 rooms, 53 inscriptions, and more than 500 ancient trees.
Yanzi Temple was originally the site of Yanzi's former residence, with Louxiangjing and Leting built in the Song Dynasty. Yanzi Temple is divided into five courtyards, covering an area of 85 mu. There are 159 halls, pavilions, storehouses, gatehouses, etc. The main buildings in the temple include Fusheng Gate, Guiren Gate, Yangsheng Gate, Louxiangjing, Leting, Fusheng Temple and stele pavilions, all of which were built in the Yuan Dynasty.
The main hall, Fusheng Hall, houses a statue of Yan Zi, and the two wings are dedicated to Yan Zhitui, Yan Shigu, Yan Zhenqing, Yan Gaoqing and other famous people in etiquette and music. The west road is dedicated to Yan Hui's father Yan Lu, and the main hall, Liguogong Hall, was built in the Yuan Dynasty. From south to north, the middle road is Louxiangfang, Yourushengyufang, Zhuoguanxiankefang, Fushengmiaofang, Fushengmen, Louxiangjingting, Guirenmen, Mingbeiting, Yangshengmen, Leting, Fusheng Hall, two wings, and Qindian; the east road is Kejimen, Jiqiku, Jianjinmen, Tuisitang, and the foundation of the family temple; the west road has Fulimen, Qiguogong Hall, and Qiguogong Qindian.
There are more than 60 steles in the Yan Temple. Two of them are the "New Temple Stele of the Great Yuan Imperially Granted Teacher Chongguo Fushenggong" and the "Stele of the Great Yuan Imperially Granted Yan Hui's Parents". Both steles are engraved with ancient Mongolian and Chinese characters, and record the circumstances of granting Yan Hui and his parents titles at that time, which is of certain value for the study of ancient philology.
