A lovely green space
The locals in Quito seem to really enjoy this place. I understand that it is a former landing strip, and has now been planted with grass and trees. It is a lovely, natural-looking park in the city.
if you don´t mind alttitude and you like to run this is your place.
if you don´t mind altitude and you like to run this is your place. Full of runners every morning. Good place to stroll or bike or walk around the park. For quito this is probably the only flat place....
A good place to stroll or bike or walk you dog on flat terrain. No real forest, but good open space. Enclosed areas for dogs. Check out Perrothon every year.
It is located on the ground of the old airport in the north of Quito, but it is wide, but it is not possible to improve the infrastructure and exploit its full potential as projected at a start...

Solid Park
Solid park for a former air field. Looks real nice. Good place to walk around or get some exercise. Ideal for dogs.
