Visiting Sarlat-LaCanéda.
The Sainte-Marie fountain is above all a natural resurgence which fed the entire secular part of the city in the Middle Ages. Located rue des Consuls, a few steps from the famous geese of the sculptor...
You'll find this if you walk down the little alley ways, you won't get lost Sarlat is a small town, though near lunch time the bistro tables can take up the sidewalk
This is not much to see, but it is an important feature of Sarlat. Historically, Sarlat survived sieges because it is fed by underground aquifers and residents did not go thirsty nor hungry.

Gloomy and not really that interesting. Better lighting and signs would be helpful. Not one os Sarlats best tourist sights
