Nice stop on the boat tour.
Very interesting to see the lock in person. Unfortunately we did not see it in action. We did get to walk up and see it from the top. Beautiful views from both sides. Great place to stop in while ...
Fun day trip
We did a day trip via SeaDoo from The Port of Orillia to Port Severn and back. The locks were not overly busy so it made the trip go fairly quick. The staff at Lock 43 was very pleasant and helpful....
Boating through
The locks are a fun experience. They are educational - engineering - they make you realize how the water system is controlled. The staff are helpful and nice too.
Big lock!
Lock 43 is rather isolated - it is not practical to drive to by road but a great place to access by boat while on the Trent-Severn Waterway. This is the deepest single chambered lock on the Waterway w...
