Bitahai Lake

The Bita Sea is located in the hinterland of Shangri-La. It is a summer place for the Naxi Mutian King of the Ming Dynasty. It is also mentioned in King Gesar's ancestral passage. Bitahai Nature Reserve is located in the east of Zhongdian County in northwest Yunnan Province, 25 kilometers away from the county seat.
