Very interesting and quite unique 'tower' is part of the old defense system of the city. It's really thick so the term tower is a bit overstreched.

The Turnul Gros has interesting architecture and unlike anything else around and backs onto the Thalia Hall which houses the State Philharmonic Orchestra.
