An Impressive Monument
This is a statement to a good man who who cared for and looked after the people employed on his estate, here on the Yorkshire wolds.
Imposing
This monument suddenly emerges in the landscape, it looks rather like a Russian Soyuz rocket when you first see it, but still it is very impressive

This memorial is a few miles up the road from Sledmere House and I don’t think it is visible from the house despite it’s size. There is dramatic landscape behind. It was built in memory of Sir Tatto...
