Eels a no-show
The guide is great but the eels does not show every time. We saw a tail of one eel and a shadow of another
Just lovely!
An amazing experience to feed the live eels. Lovely coffee shop and gift shop too! The wee museum is so interesting and blew our minds. Did I mention the friendly and helpful staff?!

Friendly staff with lots of information avaiable. Lovely tea lounge behind for a quick meal. Have a look at them feeding the eals.
Feed the Eels
The Tourist Bureau of Stilbaai is famous for its resident Eels. Every morning at 11:00 you can visit the fountain where they live, and for fee of R20-00 per person you can watch the eels being fed, ...
Very informative visit.
You can feed live eels every day at the Tourism office at 11am. There is a stunning gift shop as well.
